The heritage of a natural Normandy in all its forms: architecture, landscape, fine. 
The Ministry of Culture and Communication has awarded the label "Country of art and history 'at Auge June 24, 1999. 
Its excellent products are globally recognized in particular thanks to 7 of the 13 AOC Lower Normandy that come from the Pays d'Auge. It is the birthplace of Norman cheeses: Camembert, Livarot or Pont l'bishop cheeses originating eponymous villages and towns. Auge The gastronomy is also represented by alcohols specific Normandy country: calvados, cider, pommel, etc ... Where is le pays d'Auge ?

The Auge is bounded by the watershed of the Touques east, Dives west, the Côte Fleurie and the hills north of Argentan south. The Auge includes the townships of Blangy-le-Château, Cabourg, Cambremer, Cormeilles, Dozulé, Exmes, Gace, Honfleur, Lisieux, Livarot, Mézidon-Canon, Orbec, Pont-Eveque, Saint-Pierre- sur-Dives, Troarn, Trouville-sur-Mer, Thiberville Broglie and partly Trun and Vimoutiers.
