Its excellent products are globally recognized in particular thanks to 7 of the 13 AOC Lower Normandy that come from the Pays d'Auge. It is the birthplace of Norman cheeses: Camembert, Livarot or Pont l'bishop cheeses originating eponymous villages and towns.
